The Certified GDPR Foundation (UK GDPR F) examination is set by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications).

Demonstrate your professional and practical knowledge and expertise by registering your qualification on the IBITGQ/GASQ successful candidate register.

How will I receive my exam results and certificates?

Provisional results will be available immediately on completion of the exam. Confirmed results will be issued within ten working days from the date of the exam.
Certificates for those who have achieved a passing grade will be issued within ten working days from the date of the exam.
Results notifications and certificates are sent directly to candidates by the relevant exam board in electronic format; please note that hard copy exam certificates are not issued.

Booking your exam

Important information: Please read our examination guide before scheduling your exam.

All exams are delivered online using an automated proctor system managed by GASQ on behalf of IBITGQ.

You will need to give at least 2 hours’ notice when scheduling your exam.

You can reschedule your exam once (if needed) at least 24 hours before your booked exam date and for no additional charge.

Please be aware that your proctored exam session will be recorded.

Smart watches and earphones/headphones may not be worn during your exam.

What do you need?

Candidates are required to have:

A desktop computer or laptop with a webcam and a microphone.
Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari or Opera browser installed.
Photo ID such as a student card, ID card or driver’s licence.
A stable Internet connection over Wi-Fi with a minimum upload speed of 1.5 Mbps.

A straight forward and simple process to book this exam. A confirmation email is issued quickly with clear, easy to follow instructions. Candidates are provided links to the remote proctor service and from there can select a time/day to suit, including evenings and weekends (subject to availability). It’s worthwhile going through all the pre-setup steps in advance before the exam to ensure your area is clear, preferably an empty desk away from everything and your user device meets the technical requirements. The exam process is straight forward and the subject matter was well scoped and structured. I’ve taken a number of exams in this format and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. Above all, know your subject matter the rest of the process is straight forward. The ITGovernance team are always on hand to help and support. A great service.
