The course covers the information associated with each of the eight CISSP domains that constitute the newest version of the (ISC)² Common Body of Knowledge.

Prerequisites

There are no requirements to attend this course. However, please be aware that this is an exam preparation course. All attendees are therefore expected to have a basic understanding of the CISSP job practice knowledge domains.

Exam information

Attendees take the ISO 17024-certificated UK GDPR P exam set by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications). There is no extra charge for this exam.

The assessment is delivered online and lasts 90 minutes.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for an additional fee.

Qualifications

This training programme prepares you for the (ISC)² CISSP exam, which will quality you as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional if you meet the other eligibility requirement – namely, you must have at least five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the (ISC)² CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).

If you don’t have enough experience yet, you can still pass the CISSP exam and become an associate of (ISC)² while you gain the required work experience.

Please note that this training course does not include the (ISC)² CISSP exam. Our training team will advise you on how to book your examination at an official (ISC)² exam centre in the UK.

This course awards 35 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, which are accredited by the CPD Certification Service.

Excellent course, the trainer was great and made the experience fun and I found remembering the material much more manageable than self-study. Also, for each chapter, we would complete an online test, which helped cement the knowledge. I would defiantly use IT Governance again for my training.

I took the IT Governance CISSP course early 2019. The course was very thorough and the material provided enabled me to pass the difficult exam at the first attempt. In addition, Michael was a superb instructor and was able to pass on his vast amount of knowledge in an entertaining way. I would certainly use IT Governance again in the future.
